Paris Design Week 2021 recap: here are our top favorite designs from this year’s Maison et Objet physical event!
After having to host a strictly online version of their salon last year due to the global pandemic, Maison & Objet has made a big comeback this year to its in-person physical event. The event was overwhelmingly received, with up to 1,476 attendees and over 80,000 attendees coming together to help propel the design industry forward and allow design businesses to thrive. The event took place in 7 venues, covering several different themes, highlighting thousands of companies and design studios, and showcasing a dizzying variety of new and classic products. Here in this list, we are selecting a few standout designs that we absolutely adored at the Maison & Objet fair held at Paris Design Week 2021.
Absolutely vintage-inspired bluetooth radios
Didn’t you know retro is back? Well, if you’re going to listen to retro music, what better device to listen to it than a radio absolutely? The France-based company takes old radios from the ’60s and’ 70s and upgrades them with more modern innards, like better speakers and even Bluetooth capability. These radios from over 50 years ago are not easy to get hold of, but a.bsolutely managed to get their hands on a MASSIVE pile of little transistors, pocket radios, home radios and much more. ‘others, and they are all being renovated. to give them new life. Horl Knife Sharpener
