Youtube star Kevin Samuels spent the last moments of his life with a nurse who desperately tried to give him CPR as he suffered chest pains and turned blue, a 911 call has revealed.
Ortensia Alcantara, 32, frantically pleaded with 911 dispatchers to send an ambulance to the Buckhead Atlanta residence where she had spent the previous night with Samuels.
“I just have to give him CPR. Yes! [I need an ambulance] It’s Kevin-f******-Samuels,’ Alcantara can be heard saying on the May 5 call obtained by TMZ.
‘Nope, [he is not awake.] It doesn’t have a regular rhythm, I don’t feel it. He inhales and exhales but he has no regular rhythm.
The distraught nurse later tells first responders that the the self-proclaimed dating guru had fallen on top of her and turned blue after experiencing chest pains.
But before help arrived, Alcantara begged Samuels to come to his senses and gave him CPR until an EMS took over, trying – and failing – to save the infamous Youtuber.

‘Come on, Kevin, you get it, just try to breathe. Come on, think about your mom. Think of your daughter, said the woman between two cries.
In the desperate call released Monday, Alcantara also told 911 operators she needed to go to reception for a defibrillator.
“I have to call reception to get an AED, he won’t make it. If they have one, I have to get it right away,” she said, “call reception so they can get me an AED ****** right away. It turns blue, I can’t wait.
Paramedics administered CPR to Samuels, who was found unconscious on the apartment floor. He was transferred to Piedmont Hospital, where he died at the age of 57.
Samuels’ mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, told NBC News that she found out her son had died after seeing him on social media.
“It was a terrible thing for social media to post this. I didn’t even know,’ she told NBC News on Friday.
“I hadn’t even been warned. All I do is ask people to pray for us. She declined to divulge further details about her son’s death.
The “relationship guru” was known to be controversial and was often described as misogynistic and toxic. He recently received some heat after calling single women over 35 ‘stays’ and saying ‘men know there’s probably something wrong with you’
The Atlanta Police Department said Ortensia Alcantara, 32, a nurse, called 911 and reported an “injured person.” She would have already requested a defibrillator at the reception to keep him alive until the EMS services arrive and transfer him to the Piedmont hospital.
Samuels, who had 1.42 million YouTube subscribers and almost as many Instagram followers, was best known for his controversial dating advice.
He claimed in a video last week that the Chinese government “previously referred to women over the age of 27 who are unmarried” as “leftovers” and that 35 was the US “equivalent”.
“If you’re 35 and you’re not married, you’re a leftover woman,” he said in a video. ‘You are what remains. Men know there’s probably something wrong with you.
Samuels, whose value was estimated at $4 million, said he was “intended to leave [women] know where you are in the market,” he said with a metallic model of a woman’s torso in the background.
He also said that “not all women can have men” and suggested that women “share” them. He angered viewers after rating women based on their looks and dress size. He even rated singer Saweetie an “adjustable six”.
“She can go from cute to pretty,” he told Joe Budden on his podcast. Many said his dating advice was sexist and toxic, NBC News reported.
After her death, journalist Ernest Owens said, “Kevin Samuels made a career out of shamelessly dishonouring black women for profit.
“He encouraged the most toxic individuals to project tired and harmful narratives onto black women.
“Dead or alive, what a shameful life to live. That’s all I have for this misogynist.
Musician Jean Deaux tweeted: “What did Kevin Samuels die of?” Be 56 years old and single.
Samuels also appeared in a Future video, titled: Healing Together with Dr. Kevin Samuels (Worst Day Official Video Trailer), which debuted on February 8. The couple discussed how much money the rapper spent on women.
He also called himself an “image consultant” and offered services exclusively to men “who want an upgrade in their appearance.” Her services included shopping, grooming and helping “great guys look and feel their best,” her website said.
Longtime friend Melanie King said she got “family confirmation” of her death, The Hill reported, and said her funeral could potentially be held in Oklahoma City.
