Arsenal are pushing for Champions League qualification this season. But concerns over squad depth have seen optimism around the possibility take a hit.

Kieran Tierney has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Thomas Partey has suffered a hamstring injury which could set him back for at least a few weeks. Meanwhile, Takehiro Tomiyasu is still injured and is not expected to return until at least mid-April.

Whether or not they qualify for the Champions League, Arsenal will be looking to strengthen themselves this summer, mainly in the central forward and midfield areas. In this spirit, football.london rounded up some of the latest transfer rumors surrounding the club.

Hector Bellerin

On-loan right-back Bellerin is a transfer target for Real Betis once his contract with the club ends, according to Mundo Deportivo. The 27-year-old has one year left on his contract with Arsenal and has started the majority of Betis’ La Liga games this season.

Arda Guler

Arsenal are close to scouting wonderkid Arda Guler for a potential transfer for the 17-year-old, according to Fanatik, per sports witness. The Turkish midfielder impressed and even attracted interest from Liverpool.

Eden Hazard

Arsenal have met with representatives of Real Madrid winger Hazard over a potential loan deal on a summer buyout, according to Footmercato. A move could see the former Chelsea man make a return to the Premier League three years after leaving for the Bernabeu, where he struggled to regain that form.

Alvaro Morata

Arsenal have dealt a blow to their hopes of signing Morata this summer, with the Spaniard more interested in staying with Juventus. The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the man on loan from Atletico Madrid throughout the January transfer window. However, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, it is suggested that he let his agent know he wanted to stay in Turin.
